AI on the Edge! Challenges and solutions for Edge AI products
DescriptionArtificial Intelligence (AI) is everywhere, but continuously moving from the datacenter core to the edge: cars, surveillance cameras, machines, home appliances, wearables, health equipment – everything is becoming smart, with the addition of AI. But "AI on the Edge” adds some interesting engineering challenges and different trade-offs for form-factor, power envelope, cost and performance.
Moreover, multiple technologies are being proposed to address these challenges: different architectures of hardware/software, analog/digital, logic/memory, etc.
This session will review some of the different paradigms innovative startup companies are working on and the possible solutions to those challenges
