A Stand-alone Virtual Platform Runnable at Unified Time Domain as NVMe SSD Full-System Simulator
DescriptionThe development of next-generation SSD devices has been facing challenges such as complex multi-core verification. cost-effective software development and effective verification. As it has been more important to verify hardware and software overall since the beginning stage of development, there have been several research related to emulator or virtualizer. In this paper, we propose a Stand-alone Virtual Platform including a NVMe SSD Host and device, so that same test scenario can be excuted as real product environment and product software can be verified efficiently. Moreover, this paper also proves that there are three contributions when applying the proposed platform.
